Top Three Fantasy Performers – 02/14
Tonight was a light schedule in the NBA as it is the night before All-Star weekend which was a good thing for me as it was also Valentine’s Day – I don’t think my fiancée would have liked me looking at stats all night long so it was good to see that there were only two games to be played.
Here are the Top 3 performers for Feb 14th:
1. Steve Nash – 24 points, 13 assists, 6 rebounds, 1 block, 5 turnovers: Another stellar night from Mr. Reliable. Nash also hit four 3 ballers as the Suns beat the Mavs by 12. The two time MVP shows no signs of slowing down this season and once again is in the running for his third MVP trophy.
2. Dirk Nowitzki – 36 points, 12 Rebounds, 4 Assists, 4 turnovers: Back-to-back honours for Dirk as he posted yet another great fantasy line. Although he did shoot 12-31 from the floor, owners can be satisfied with his 12-14 from the free throw line to make up for it. Dirk is on a roll, keep on trucking.
3. Dwayne Wade – 30 points, 7 assists, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, 6 turnovers: Other then the 6 turnovers, this is a great all around line for Wade. The arrival of Marion has helped elevate Wade’s game to a high level once again. Even though the heat are leagues worst 9-42, Wade continues to fight like a true champion.
