I’m excited to announce that Hoops Addict will be recording some video segments at the SNY Invitational later this month. SNY, the television home of the New York Mets, Jets and BIG EAST Conference, announced earlier this week that the 2010 SNY Invitational, presented by MetroPCS, will tip off January 29 at 6pm and showcase four of the top ranked high school teams in New York.

The 2010 SNY Invitational will take place in Brooklyn at Long Island University’s Wellness, Recreation and Athletic Center.

The teams include Long Island Lutheran, Cardozo, Rice and Boys and Girls High School. All games will be broadcast live on SNY and feature SNY commentator Kevin Burkhardt calling all the action alongside analysts and former Villanova Wildcats basketball players John Celestand and Baker Dunleavy. Brian Custer, host of The WheelHouse and Jets Post Game Live on SNY, will handle the sideline duties.
