Raptors Announce 2008 Preseason Schedule
The Toronto Raptors announced their 2008 preseason schedule which is highlighted by a game in Edmonton and hosting an international team (CSKA Moscow).
While countless Raptors fans were ecstatic at the thought of Rafael Araujo returning to the Air Canada Centre, this excitement will be squashed when they realize CSKA Moscow isn’t the Russian club which Araujo is signed with. Araujo is signed to Russian Superleage team Spartak Saint Petersburg, while CSKA currently has former Duke standout Trajan Langdon.
The Raptors have made a habit of having preseason games in cities across Canada in an attempt to become known as Canada’s team and this year is no different as they’ll play Denver in Edmonton on October 21.
