Oberto Close To Signing With Wizards

According to Michael Lee of the Washington Post, former San Antonio Spurs center Fabricio Oberto is close to signing with the Washington Wizards.
In his four years with the Spurs, the Argentine center averaged 3.6 points and 3.9 rebounds a game. He also played a pivotal role in the Spurs 2007 Championship run. The 34-year-old center is expected to backup Brendan Haywood.

thats interesting…i think he’ll be a great pickup for the rebuilding wizards team…they should be back in full swing in three or four seasons
