One-On-One With Scott Brooks

March 27, 2009

Oklahoma City has seen its share of highs and lows this season. They started the season an abysmal 3-29, fired head coach P.J. Carlesimo, and then over their past 40 games they have gone an impressive 17-23.

While this turnaround isn’t good enough to challenge for a playoff spot in the Western Conference, it’s enough to give Thunder fans hope for next season.

Throw into the mix Kevin Durant being fourth in the NBA in scoring at 25.9 points and it’s clear the team has a good thing brewing.

Oklahoma City’s interim head coach Scott Brooks talked with Hoops Addict about Fox Sports considering him for Coach of the Year, the improvements Kevin Durant has made since he moved him from shooting guard to small forward and what it’s like to coach a talented young trio in Durant, Russell Westbrook and Jeff Green.
