The Big East is 5-1 at this point but Marquette and Pitt looked pretty beatable today. Other than UConn and Syracuse who won handily, the Big East hasn't lived up to the hype - at least to this point. Well, maybe I should have followed the tip sheet I was given…..the Flyers of Dayton absolutely did outsmart and outplay the Mountaineers. At this point, I don’t think I am going to waste my money……this pool is “only $10 - as opposed to another work pool that costs $20……although win or lose (and it’s always been lose), I have to admit it is fun to try. and, you are right……in my past, we had football pools every week at work and a woman named Winnie used to win almost every single week based on hunches and places she’d rather visit. the rest of us never stood a chance! Fun read, BTW, but as my tip sheet also says “there appears to be a direct correlation between a large quantity of useless basketball knowledge and losing”.
