vin baker was the man during his bucks days…that was when i noticed his game. i collected his cards and even have 2 autographs…i still want to meet him personally.

Vin Baker much like John “Hot Plate” Williams and Oliver Miller ate themselves out the league. Vin’s number one passion after b-ball was no kidding cooking. Vin’s culinary skills and ingredients were dense in cholesterol again, no kidding. Vin struggled with alcohol and even had heart palpitations which were rumored to be associated with taking “fat burners”. Vin’s a good dude and could hoop yet self discipline is a tough taskmaster that if we don’t adhere to we all pay the penalty. Peace…

Baker started hanging out with Gary Payton. Payton would always stay out late, partying, drinking. He could handle it, he’s a freak. Baker couldn’t, and we see what happened.

That Olympic team was jokes! Besides Baker and SAR they also had Tim Hardaway, Dice and Steve Smith – and people complain that the teams the US sends to competitions now are weak.
