I had tickets for the Nets. What an enjoyment watching him play. What energy and enthusiasm he had. And man, could he shoot!!! His last year was before they pulled the 3 point distance in a bit. God knows what he would have averaged. I tried to still see the nets after he died but I couldn'nt keep with them. It was too sad for me. Great article, Brian. I had tickets for the Nets. Between injuries to K-Mart, Kittles, Nenad and countless others the team has had the talent on it's roster to be a title contender (just ask Charles Barkley who his pick last fall was to rep the East in the Finals this spring) but due to injuries they just haven't been able to get it done. If your still looking for players to focus, what about Bobby Hurley JR? He had a great career at Duke and then the car accident derailed his pro career.
