Hours after the news of Gilbert Arenas and his knee surgery broke two days ago, countless number of media outlets weighed in with their opinion.  Some criticized the Washington Wizards for re-signing Areanas; others criticized Arenas for waiting so long to resume his workouts;  and there was even talk that the Wizards are better off without his services.

Arenas must have gotten sick of hearing his name and his decision to have this surgery dragged through the mud, because after a two month hiatus, he updated his blog to discuss a variety of topics.  He discussed why the procedure was necessary, his opinions on when he will be able to return, the grueling rehabilitation process ahead, the “Redeem Team” and he showed his lighter side by discussing an internet clip of Baron Davis.
