Right on Greg, as opposed to the Celtics having done better than the pistons for the past six years… Oh wait, I forgot. Aside for last year, the Celtics were at the very bottom of the league. They even did as poorly as you could do in the lottery.

The reason why Maxiell is able to have have so many highlights is because of all of his hustle. True Shane Battie might be a lock up defender but i mean is it really hard to stick a hand in a guy face while there shooting. I mean if you call that lock up defense than go ahead but that fact of the matter is anyone in the league can do that. If you want true lock up defense than maybe you should watch the 2nd round of the playoffs when a 6’5 Jason Maxiell had to guard and defend a 6’11 Dwight Howard and Maxiell shut him down on defense. the reason why he did this is because he wasn’t afraid to take a charge from Howard and he would hustle on defense to make sure howard didn’t get a chance for a jam. Once again everyone is this contests is a joke and Maxiell wins.

J-Max has almost more votes for him than total votes for any other pair of competitors combined. He’s gonna crush this competition like he crushed KG, Tyson Chandler, Dwight Howard, etc, etc…

… game and took 1 shot and made it then it wouldnt make me the best shooter in the game because im 100%… it just means i suck so much they wouldnt give me minutes on the floor in the first place.

Jason Maxiell is one of the most agressive young guys ive seen on the floor in a longgg time. He is 6’7″ and can block players that are over 7 feet tall. This past season the pistons trusted him enough to give him the ball to take a mid range jumper with only a second left in a game to win it (and he made it). With all his crazy thunder dunks and mean rejections i dont see why he shouldnt win this.

oh and to the guy that said “Actually, on a per-minute basis Leon has better rebounding numbers, both offensively and overall”

That only means Maxiell has the agressiveness and hustle to get MORE MINUTES on the floor than Leon does… who doesnt want that? If i was in the NBA and played 1

A blocking an incredible alley-oop from the best alley tandum in the NBA and runnign the entire length of the floor to stuff a KG dunk are the signs of “anti Floor burn”? So shot blockers and dunkers “only go for high light plays”? Maybe you get more floor burns from flopping around on the hardwood than you do from jumping to contest a sjoe. If that’s what the ‘floor burn tournament’ is about than remove my Maxielle vote- I NOMMInate Anderson Varajoke.
Maxiell has improved his mid range jumper significantly and gets onto the highlight real because of his hustle and agression.

I too would like an explaination for free throw shooting having a direct relationship to agressive play.
