Exclusive Interview With Jay Brantley
Jay “Boogie” Brantley played college ball at UNLV, has traveled around the world playing basketball and has been featured on the AND1 Mixtapes, but he’s not well known by basketball fans in North America.
His relative lack of notoriety is a shame because he’s clearly one of the better ambassadors the game of basketball has on a global level. Brantley has been a league MVP while playing in Bolivia, he has worked with politicians in Liberia and has a desire to mentor younger basketball players. Besides being a talented player it’s clear he wants to use his basketball skills as a way to impact and change lives.
Brantley recently returned from Liberia and took some time to talk with Hoops Addict about his trip and how the game of basketball has helped him to grow into a better man.
