As a nationally ranked high school player, summer beak from means jumping from tournament to tournament and last weekend adidas held their adidas Nations tournament. What separates this camp from others is that players from around the globe are taking part as well. This year adidas brought in players from Africa, Asia, Canada, Europe and Latin America to compete against two teams representing the United States.

Throw in some NBA players acting as mentors and a handful of former NBA head coaches and it’s a great opportunity for young players to learn and grow.

Brook Lopez and Mike Conley Jr., two of the NBA mentors working the camp, took some time out of their busy schedule to talk about why they are involved with the camp, what their summer has involved, the big trades their respective NBA teams made this summer, both players vowed their respective teams are aiming to make the playoffs and a host of other topics.
