Charles Barkley Conference Call

June 1, 2009

With TNT now done with their NBA coverage for this season I couldn’t resist from posting a recent conference call that Charles Barkley took part in. The “Round Mound of Rebound” has long been one of my favorite NBA personalities so I was excited when this audio clip found its way into my email inbox.

This summer Barkley will take part in his 13th American Century Championship and last weekend he was doing some promotional work for this tournament. During this conference call Barkley talked about what it’s like to have old ladies give him golf advice, he claims talking trash in the second best part of sports besides winning, he boasts about singing karaoke with Ben Roethlisberger, praised Philadelphia for hiring Eddie Jordan and addressed a wide range of topics during the 40 minute conference call.

Also taking part in this conference call was Tiger Woods’ renowned golf coach Hank Haney, former NFL quarterback Trent Dilfer and Jon Miller, the executive vice-president of NBC Sports.
