One of my favorite parts of running Hoops Addict is the opportunity it provides me with to chat with people all over the world who are doing great things through basketball. Earlier this month I was introduced to JD Walsh, a well known basketball coach who has been doing some great things in India through basketball clinics he has been running.
Before I left for Australia I was able to chat with JD about:
* What led him to coaching basketball clinics in India
* Some struggles he’s faced and the rewarding aspects of his time in India
* The training academy he’s trying to build
* The reality television show involving basketball in India he’s talking with networks about producing

Great interview Ryan. Really puts basketball in another perspective. People like J.D. Walsh are part of the reason the game has grown so much internationally. Hopefully more people can take a cue from him and get involved in some way.
