This afternoon I joined Justin Hull on “The Home Stretch” to chat about the NBA’s new CBA, what moves the Miami Heat might make and if the shorter season will favor veteran or younger teams.

I had the chance to chat with Will Blalock about where basketball has taken him since he left the Detroit Pistons, the highlights of playing basketball overseas, how he landed up playing basketball in Canada playing in the NBL, mentoring Shabazz Napier and if he will consider being a coach once his playing days are done.

I was able to chat with Lamond Murray about what he has been up to since he retired from the NBA and his new role with NCSA.

I was able to chat with Joel Anthony after a Canada Basketball practise about his role on the national team this summer, mentoring younger players on this team and how tough losing in the NBA Finals was on him.

Earlier this week I was able to chat with Andy Rautins after a Canada Basketball practice about his goals for this summer while playing for Canada, what he learned from Chauncey Billups and how he is adjusting to being a point guard after being a wing while he was in college.

This afternoon I was able to chat with Jermaine Anderson about the start of Basketball Canada’s training camp, sharing point guard duties this summer with Cory Joseph and Andy Rautins, how the NBA lockout might effect him and how his faith helps to keep him grounded when he’s going through stressful situations.
