Whether that was Maxwell sharing a song his Grandmother would sing to him as a child, Moby sharing the first album he bought or RZA admitting turning 30 was tough, this kind of interview always managed to shed some light into a musician whose music I enjoyed.

Which got me thinking: Why not provided basketball fans with a similar experience?

I’m kicking off a basketball version of 5-10-15-20 by talking with Raptors guard Quincy Douby. In our chat he shares how he was more interested in playing with action figures than basketball as a kid, how basketball was a way to impress girls in high school and he shared what playing at Rutgers and in the NBA has meant to him.
