December 9, 2009

Losing is always tough. However, when you’ve played for one of the elite college teams for the past three seasons heading to an NBA team that is rebuilding has to be a little tougher. This is the case for rookie Wayne Ellington who has already lost more game this season (18) than he lost the past three years combined while playing for North Carolina (11).

Ouch! Talk about putting a damper on your rookie season in the NBA.

Before Ellington’s team took on the Toronto Raptors I was able to chat with him about the pros and cons of playing on a team that is rebuilding, he shared some of his highlights of his rookie season and he talked about which former teammates he’s kept in touch with.
