Catching Up With Brook Lopez

Last night I had the chance to chat with Brook Lopez about his experience coaching at the adidas Nations camp this past summer, how the atmosphere in the Nets’ locker room is helping him deal with all the losing he’s enduring this season and his goals for the remainder of the season.

I met Brook and Robin last year at Disney while waiting to get my tower of terror picture. I was overwhelmed by the height of Brook as he stood in front of me and so being the crazy old woman I am, I just backed up to him and a friend made my picture. We talked and then I talked to Robin and ended up getting my picture made with both of them. Really funny considering I am only 5’1″ on a good day. I told them that I would eventually see one of them play in Memphis and that is going to happen tomorrow night! Can’t wait to cheer Brook on when the Nets play the Grizzlies!
