Catching Up With Antoine Wright
To say December has been a tough month for Antoine Wright would be an understatement.
Through the first month of the season he averaged a steady 17.6 minutes and appeared to have carved out his niche for himself as a key rotation player off the bench for Toronto. But over his previous seven games Wright failed to see the court besides the 10 minutes he played against Orlando.
While some may argue wright found himself in Jay Triano’s doghouse the head coach vehemently denied this was the case.
This afternoon Wright found his way off the bench to play 17 minutes. After the game Wright talked with me about what it was like to get some extended minutes this afternoon, how tough it is to guard Rip Hamilton and the teams recent four-game winning streak.
