Catching Up With Andy Rautins
July 29, 2010
This evening I attended a Basketball Canada event and I was able to chat with Andy Rautins about being drafted by the New York Knicks, playing for Mike D’Antoni, what he learned from his play in Las Vegas earlier this summer, his pride in representing Canada at the World Championships and if he’s growing into being a veteran leader with the national team.

It pains me to say this as a UConn fan, but Rautins became one of my favorite college players in recent memory.
Kid plays hard and smart, always makes the extra pass, always dives on the floor for loose balls and plays the way the game should be played.
Canadians and Knicks fans should be proud to have him on their roster
