Bosh Named Eastern Conference Player of the Week

November 3, 2008

I was just sent an email from the Toronto Raptors PR team informing me that Chris Bosh will be named Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played Tuesday, October 28 through Sunday, November 2.

Bosh backed up his supporters who have claimed him to be a darkhore MVP candidate by averaging 26.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists over his first three games of the season. He registered two double-doubles and led the team in rebounding three times and scoring twice.  He currently leads the team in scoring (26.0), rebounding (10.0) and minutes (41.7).

New Orleans Hornets point guard Chris Paul was named Western Conference Player of the Week after averaging 21.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 12.0 assists and 2.3 steals.
