I’ve been a huge fan of Ball Don’t Lie since I first read Matt de la Pena’s book nearly two years ago. Since that time I’ve been able to interview Matt and I’ve heard the great news that the book is being made into a movie.

Matt de la Pena has been great to Hoops Addict in the past and he’s continued to do so by putting me in touch with the director of the movie (Brin Hill). It’s through this introduction that I’ve been promised trailers, inside scoops and exclusive interviews with Hill, de la Pena and some of the actors in the movie.

The first Ball Don’t Lie trailer features original beats from infamous Mixtape DJ J Period and it started playing in Foot Locker nationwide earlier this month. This trailer features the All-Star cast of Grayson “The Professor” Boucher, Rosanna Arquette, Nick Cannon, Kim Hidalgo and Ludacris.
