This past weekend I was on The Score to chat about the NBA Draft. Some of the topics we covered included if the Cavs should have drafted Derrick Williams, if the Raptors reached too much with their draft pick and Brandon Knight sliding on draft night.

Eager to fill a gaping hole left at center, the Houston Rockets have expressed interest in acquiring Golden State Warriors center, Andris Biedrins, according to the Houston Chronicle.

The already-young Wizards core expanded Thursday night as they picked up Jan Vesely, Chris Singleton and Shelvin Mack in the 2011 NBA Draft. Washington is already a young team and has taken chances on foreign players. This draft only continued those tendencies: building young and adding a foreign flavor to the team.

Go ahead, Raptors fans. Spend all the time you want complaining on message boards or calling into talk radio shows to demand Bryan Colangelo’s head for his drafting of yet another Euro. Don’t take this the wrong way, but he doesn’t really care – nor should he.
