One-On-One With Quincy Douby

When Quincy Douby arrived in the NBA as a first round pick three years ago he thought it would be the start of a long career in the league. Unfortunately the talented guard was in for a rude awakening as he had to adjust to playing under three coaches during his time in Sacramento and was cut earlier this season.. The combo guard resolved to not let this slow him down and after a trip to the D-League to improve his conditioning he recently signed his second 10-day contract with the Toronto.

After playing 10 solid minutes against the New York Knicks, he took some time to talk with Hoops Addict about his confidence improving due to getting more minutes, being more comfortable playing alongside Chris Bosh and his new teammates, what it has been like to play for three coaches during his NBA career, what he learned during his time in the D-League and if there’s any pressure to perform while playing on a 10-day contract.
