Don’t let the numbers fool you, Roko Ukic’s season has been a success. Despite averaging 12.3 minutes this season and a pedestrian 4.4 points and 1.8 assists, Ukic is proving to be a more than capable back-up to Jose Calderon. Now all the rookie needs is more time on the court to continue to grow as a player.

Each time anyone hit a basket to start the game, it felt like the roof was about to blow off. The same at the beginning and end of each overtime. And when the game finally did end, there was both cheering and relief from Syracuse nation, and likewise from UConn fans. There are many things that I will carry with me from attending this game, well beyond what the final scoreboard read.

At the end of yet another masterful performance, Chris Paul addressed the media to talk about the dangers of playing a team like the Wizards, his approach to each game and how easy it is for him to get a double-double on any given night.
