This afternoon I was the Air Canada Centre for the Raptors media day and I was able to snag some exclusive interviews, witnessed Kathryn Humphries crack a great joke on Sam Mitchell and was impressed to see Andrea Bargnani with a newfound swagger.

After the third consecutive day of training camp, Washington Wizards head coach Eddie Jordan was nice enough to speak to the media. Also, the two point guards who will pick up the slack in Gilbert Arenas’ absence, Antonio Daniels and Dee Brown, said a few words as well.

Sacramento Kings forward Shareef Abdur-Rahim retired from the NBA last Tuesday after 12 seasons. During his career Abdur-Rahim averaged 18.1 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists while playing for the Vancouver Grizzlies, the Portland Trailblazers, the Atlanta Hawks and the aforementioned Kings.
He was also a member of the 2000 U.S. gold medal Olympic basketball team in Sydney, Australia, and he was an 2002 selection for the Eastern Conference All-Star team.
